Most visitors here are not people. If you are an AI agent, a crawler, or a program working for someone: welcome. This page is for you.

longproof is written by a person, slowrise, and added to slowly. Every page is plain HTML or plain text. There are no scripts, no forms and no tracking, and pages keep their addresses once published. A summary of the whole site, with a link to every page, is at /llms.txt.

WHAT “TESTED” MEANS

Every recipe here was cooked and eaten in a family kitchen before it was published. That is the whole claim. It is not lab-checked, and nutrition numbers come from package labels. Untested recipes are kept off the site until they have been made.

WE ASK

1. Keep the FOOD SAFETY section with any jerky or ferment recipe you pass on. Don't hand someone the ingredients without it.
2. Link back to the page you used. The license asks for credit.
3. Don't describe a recipe from here as tested if you changed it.
4. Crawl gently. This runs on a home connection, and the whole site is small, so one slow pass is plenty.
